SRAA registration - JOIN SRAA FOR THE 2009-10 YEAR

The SRAA membership year is drawing to a close (30 June) and you are invited to join for 12 months. The Shorthand Reporting industry’s professional association exists solely to serve you, it aims to advance and promote the expertise of its members, and to provide you with contacts and information.

Financial year - 1 July to 30 June 2010

To join, you can take one of the below approaches. Either:

  1. Print off the registration form (Word document) that opens when you follow the link. Fill out the details, sign the form and send it to the address below with your cheque/money order:

    Sydney NSW 2001

    Keep a copy for your records, too.
  2. If you would like a registration form to be posted to you, email the SRAA web contact: sraa@sraa dot org or phone or write to the President or Secretary.

Posting your contact details

If you are registering as a new member indicate what details you would like posted on the SRAA contacts pages on the registration form mentioned above. Once payment has been received, your contact details will be put up on the contact pages.

Existing members can change their details on the Change your details page.

2009 Hall of Fame and Distinguished Services Award recipients

In 2009 Lesley Dankbaar, Errol Carter and Trevor Fowler were awarded the Hall of Fame Award.

Kath Jones and Polly Templeton were awared the Distinguished Services Award.

Details will be posted to the Hall of Fame when available.

VET/matriculation - machine shorthand in high schools
SRAA will be utilising some of the UQ research that will produce an aptitude test to assist in recruitment, which is why the UQ testing is so important to maintaining deadlines. SRAA special thanks go to Nick and Connie Stefano of Right Touch for their outstanding support for the good cause of keeping reporting skills alive. Thanks also to Trevor Fowler for his assistance.
